Sveta Nedjelja is situated at the south coast of the island Hvar. It is 6 kilometres far away from Zavala, and 12 kilometres from the town Hvar. In this place there live about 130 inhabitants who are mostly engaged in viticulture, olive-growing and tourism. This beautiful place is enclosed by vineyards out of which the famous Hvar vines originate, among which Plavac is distinguished. You can find accommodation in private apartments and rooms. Pleasant climate, intact nature, clear sea, home-made food and drinks will make this place ideal for your vacation. We recomend hikers to visit also the other places on the island, such as: the town Hvar, Stari Grad, Vrboska, Zavala, Ivan Dolac, Basina, Jelsa, Milna and Sucuraj. Vrboska is a small town with a typical Dalmatian appearance. It lies in a narrow and deeply indented bay in the middle part of the northern coast of the island of Hvar. Vrboska was formerly a fishing village with a tradition, on which also the unique fishing museum shows. Vrboska is now a tourist town which conquers with their originality, beauty and tranquility of everyone?
In the center was founded in 1580, the fortress church of St. Mary. From the roof of the church there is a wide and magnificent view of the surrounding area, which spreads out into the Meeresweite.
