Milna is situated at the western part of the island Hvar. It is only 4 kilometres far away from the town Hvar. This is the newest settlement on the island Hvar, and it was founded some forty years ago by settling the inhabitansts from Malo Grblje, the place which is 2 kilometres away. In the place there live about seventy inhabitants who are mainly engaged in tourism, olive-growing and viticulture. Milna is placed in a small bay, so it is at the same time suitable for anchoring of small yachts. It is known for its wonderful gravel beaches. This is the ideal place for a peaceful family vacation, and if you should feel the need for night fun, you are going ti find it in the town Hvar.
